The Challenge Story

What started as an experiment doubled down for 2025. The 25 runners from 2024 sparked something, by August 2025, 56 people stood at the starting line. Same challenge: two marathons, two days, 52.4 miles. Together, they raised £136,000. Four times what we'd done the year before. It was brutal as ever. Bodies broke down, exhaustion set in, and there were moments when finishing felt impossible. But the atmosphere carried people through. Support crews formed on the spot. Volunteers showed up at every checkpoint. The cheers got louder as the miles got harder. And when it was over? The tears, the bonds, the overwhelming sense that it was all worth it. That's what makes this special.
